    urine drug test

Most employers have made it a norm for the employees to take a drug test now and then. But the test may appear not to be valid since detecting the drug takes even months while others vanish after hours. There are many ways in which drugs get determined on how long they take much.
Drugs stay in systems may be determined by how much drug got taken and even how long the pill stays.

Drug tests can be taken from urine, hair, sweat, blood, and saliva. Urine seems to be the one used primarily because of the simplicity of getting the samples, having results very fast, and the affordability of the test. Urine is also a method approved by federally mandated testing and can detect a drug taken a few days ago.

They are factors that determine how long a drug will stay in the system get detected in the lab for the urine test. They include:

    • Type of drug used. Different drugs take different times to stay in the system of the patient. Some medications take even months the design and, once tested via urine, will show positive results. But others remain in the system for even 72 hours, showing adverse effects once a urine test gets done after 96 hours.

    • The Frequency of drug use. Some drugs will show positive results if taken more times. If these drugs get taken fewer times, they will show adverse effects.

    • Amount of drugs used. The positiveness of a drug through a urine test will show up depending on how much the took medication. The more the quantity, the more the results will show positive.

    • Hydration levels. The more the body’s hydration levels, the more the drug will show negativity in the urine test. The lower the hydration levels makes the test more favorable of the drug test.

    • Metabolism. It requires how efficiently someone’s kidney and liver can metabolize the drugs very fast. The more they can efficiently work thus will ensure the drugs are metabolized very fast, hence eliminating the drugs from the system. By having tested at that point, the test will automatically turn negative.

    • Tolerance. Taking a particular drug for long will test positive for the drug compared to taking the medication the other day.

    • Age. An older person taking drugs will test positive for a particular drug test since the metabolism is significantly lower due to age. Drugs linger much in the system as you age.

    • Body Fat Percentage. A fat body binds the drug and lowers the processing time to show up the results. The fat body seems to show adverse effects as compared to the less fat people.

    • The presence of other drugs in the body determines a lot. The drug’s presence unveils the positiveness of the drug being tested, especially for alcohol.

Gender. Male tends to show more optimism of a particular drug in urine as compared to women. The metabolism of women is much higher than the ones for men.
Thus the conclusion shows that the factors need to be noted any time a urine test has to be taken.
